(MINNEAPOLIS) - Paul Hornung grabbed two touchdown passes and teamed with Bart Starr to rescue unbeaten Green Bay in the fourth period for an exhibition victory over the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. With Green Bay's perfect pre-season record endangered by costly fumbles, Starr marched the Packers 77 yards in the final period, climaxing the drive with a 12-yard scoring pass to Hornung with 4 1/2 minutes left. In addition to his game-winning catch, Hornung also picked off a second period Starr pass on a 40-yard scorng play and kicked four conversions for 16 points. It was Green Bay's fifth straight exhibition victory. Dallas, making its entry into the NFL, closed out its preseason schedule with a 1-5 record. A crowd of 20,151 watched the annual Catholic charities game at Metropolitan Stadium. At least four Packers were injured, at least one seriously. Jim Temp, a defensive end, dislocated his shoulder. Lombardi said he may be out for the season. Lamar McHan, who started the second half, injured his knee in the third quarter and had to retire. The extent of his injury was not determined immediately. In addition, end Ron Kramer reinjured his hip and halfback Jesse Whittenson sustained a pulled muscle.
