(DALLAS) - Green Bay's Packers got off to an auspicious start Friday night by trimming the Dallas Cowboys in an exhibition game. Bart Starr, the old Alabama ace, passed five yards to Paul Hornung for one touchdown, set up two more and his throwing and running combined with the dashes of Jim Taylor led to a fourth. Taylor's 16-yard field goal rounded out the Green Bay scoring. The Cowboys did not win a game in their first appearance in the NFL last year but got off to a fine start a week by ago beating the Minnesota Vikings 38-13. Dallas made its touchdown on a sensational play. It was an 80-yard pass play from Eddie LeBaron to Frank Clarke. Moore scored twice for Green Bay on runs of five and six yards. Taylor scored on a two yard plunge and kicked a 16 yard field goal and three out of four extra points. Homung grabbed a 4-yard pass for his touchdown.
